Skincare -- why care?

It’s the year 2018, I just turned 21, and I’m starting to try this new thing called skincare.
I bought my first Innisfree product a few months ago. It was not even a voluntary decision. When we were in Taiwan, my friends were going crazy over these face masks, face scrubs, cleansers, etc. We were hopping between Cosme, Innisfree, and all other Watsons-like shops abroad. It was a total bummer for me. Upon noticing my oily skin, my friends suggested I purchase any Innisfree jeju product so I did. Out of frustration.

Well, safe to say I never regretted it.
As 2018 came I found myself slowly immersing myself in skin care. The girl who had no idea how to care for her face slowly became a relic of a bygone year, and now here I am, cleansing, toning, and moisturizing my face every night.
Skincare admittedly takes such a long time, but this long time is a very therapeutic time for me. There’s something so calming about looking at the mirror and scrubbing your face, high on the chance of becoming a lot prettier. For an hour the fact that I'm overweight doesn't matter. I'm here, with clear skin, so who the fuck cares if I am a few kilos short of obesity?
Lol but seriously. Skin care is life. Start researching about the type of skin you have, start experimenting to find out which products suit you best, and most importantly, start living.
UPDATE: APRIL 10, 2018
