Mas Bongga sa Zamboanga
I have to admit: I chose the title because it sounded good (although very cliché). This was not baseless, though.
Andoy and I went to Zamboanga for a fieldwork commissioned by the National Youth Commission. In all of the fieldworks that we had before, we had to share a room. I am not complaining, though, since Andoy and I get along really well. However, when we went to Zamboanga, they booked us one double bedroom each.

Aside from the room, I was also really glad that the data that we were able to gather from the focus group discussions were great. It was a tiring day-- we did four FGDs-- but then my sorority sister messaged me and asked if we could meet on the evening. Of course, I said yes. She and her boyfriend fetched me at our hotel and treated me to beers and lots of food at Chinito's (her boyfriend owns the restaurant).

National Youth Commission also allowed us one day to explore Zamboanga. Below are more photos:
